SHAPES AND WEIGHTS

Trumpet mouthpieces can be ordered in different weights and shapes:

Light: our best seller by far, this is what we advise to get unless you already know you need heavier equipment.

Medium: top is still light but the backbore has a thicker shaft. It sounds louder and feels more stable. You will hardly need anything heavier than this, believe us!

Bullet: top is heavy and the backbore has a bullet shaped shaft. Pretty heavy, still compatible with all sorts of trumpets. Sounds a lot darker, even more stable, it starts getting a bit harder to play as it requires more energy but will also carry more sound at a distance.

Heavy: heavy top and heavy straight shaft. It's very heavy, it will NOT match your thick walled leadpipe.

I'm sorry Adams, Monette or Taylor players, receivers are NOT as consistent as they want you to think and you will end up with either a big gap or the mouthpiece bottoming out.

We tried the same mouthpiece with many models and they are all different...

They are compatible with most normal receivers (Bach, Yamaha and so on) but we can't guarantee they will fit all horns.
