PICCOLA

Piccola means small, tiny. It's a female word in Italian and it is short for Tromba Piccola, what is commonly know as Piccolo Trumpet in English.
Being Italian I wanted to keep the sense of lightness this small little "girl" transmits. Sound must be pleasant to the ear, never piercing, joyful to play with, not aggressive, not hard at all.
This is what Piccola is, this is why my wife's nickname is Piccola.
She has a high pitched voice, musical, pleasant and a joy to hear.
